WPvivid has introduced a new plugin called Database Merge, designed to help web developers and administrators effortlessly synchronize databases between their production and staging WordPress sites during updates.
This plugin aims to make the update process seamless without affecting new data on the live site, particularly useful for WooCommerce or LMS sites. 
Currently, there aren’t many plugins available that focus on this specific functionality. One notable alternative is WPMerge, which also aims to address similar database syncing needs. I’ve used it in the past and had not amazing reliability.
In the coming days, I’ll be evaluating the reliability and performance impact of WPvivid’s Database Merge plugin. Stay tuned for more insights!
